Customers pains - To know the challenges your customers are facing regarding your products or services, you will have to do a research on them to know what they really want.
Previously, in this business design series, we discussed the: "Design Methodology and Design Mindset" and the: "Business Design Tool - Solutions to Customers Pains" Take your time to read through them for a better understanding of the topic: "Business Design."
In conducting that research you will use a tool called User Persona Canva. This is a tool used in analyzing your target market.
In using this tool you have to define your target market and know who they really are and conduct a survey with your customers and potential customers.
Before I continue please, you are to conduct this survey with your target market only. For example: If your target market is females conduct this survey with females only.
You will need to conduct the survey and ask them to answer the following questions:

Needs in whatever industry you are. For example for those in the fashion industry you can ask them - What are your fashion needs?

For example what are the positive trends in the fashion industry they are aware of?

For instance What positive opportunities do they see in fashion industry that they would like you to take advantage of.
Hopes: ………………………
For instance how will they fashion in five (5) or ten (10) years’ time?

For instance; what negative fashion trends do they know?
Negative headache: ……
For example; what negative headache do they experience from fashion designers - actual customers pains?

For instance; what do they fear about the fashion industry in future?
NB: I only used fashion as an example to determine the customers pains, but you should do this regarding the industry you belong. You can use Google forms for an online survey to carrying out this activity. But for an offline or physical survey you can type this on a computer, print and then make photocopies. Thereafter, meet your target clients and ask for few minutes of their time to fill these forms.
Use the answers that they gave you from the conducted survey to solving the customers pains by developing a business model that addresses their pains or challenges and serve it to them hot. Trust me they will rush the offer.
